You are invited to be part of these extraordinary events, led by Indigenous Cultural Safety Practitioner Kathi Camilleri, hosted by Brechin 4 ACTION. On Saturday October 18th, 9am-3:30pm Building Bridges Through Understanding the Village. This is designed to deepen our understanding from cognitive to a deeply emotional level, of how to support the revival of Indigenous values and, collectively, the effects of the Residential School System and Canada's Policy of Assimilation.
Dive deeper with the follow up Paddling Together: a Strategic Workshop designed to help community members create a shared path forward through working more collaboratively and respectfully, as we move toward right relations. This will be held on Saturday November 8th, 9:30am- 3:30pm. Attendance at Building Bridges is required before participating in this one.
